Dear McGregor School Community,
Over the past several months, the district has been exploring the possibility of moving to contracted services for student transportation. This review is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that McGregor Schools operates safely, efficiently, and sustainably while continuing to meet the needs of our students and families.
Attached is a flyer that outlines the reasons the district is considering this change. It provides background on the challenges we’ve experienced with staffing and operational demands as well as information about how a contracted transportation model could benefit our district.
We are sharing this information to honor our commitment to transparency and to ensure that staff, families, and community members remain informed as the district evaluates potential next steps.
As always, we value your partnership and input. The transportation company will be presenting its proposal to the McGregor School Board on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Board Room. This is a public meeting, and everyone is welcome to attend and listen.
