Nutrition & Fitness

A message from the ISD #4 Wellness educators, we want the best for our students and families. We work hard to ensure that students' minds and bodies are ready for learning each and every day. We will work to encourage healthy eating and physical activity, helping to reduce health risks and improve overall well-being in and outside the classroom.

Children benefit mentally, physically, socially and academically by eating right and getting regular exercise. Healthy kids perform better on tests, behave better, are more focused in class and have a higher self-esteem.

The school wellness team will provide teachers and staff with available resources to utilize in their classrooms and out on the playground. We will provide to you, as parents, links and resources right here on this page where you can gather important information, recipes and things to do in the area leading to a healthy family! Together, we will lead students to lifelong success and a roadmap to a healthy lifestyle.

Wishing you all the best!
