Northland Counseling Center is excited to now offer Therapy in the McGregor Schools. Two Mental Health Professionals will be available on Thursday mornings for counseling services for the remainder of the school year!

Northland Counseling Center Therapists are:

Lauren Flood who has additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy techniques, sand tray and EAGAL (Equine Therapy)

Kayla Meyer who has additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy techniques and sand tray.


Both therapist work with children, teens and adults and are excited to be able to offer this service!

What do I need to do if I am interested?

  • Call 218-326-1274 and ask for intake. Let them know you are calling in regards to therapy in the McGregor School. Please contact us as soon as possible.
  • An intake packet will be mailed to you. This must be completed and returned PRIOR to an appointment.
  • One the intake packet is returned Kayla or Lauren will set up an appointment.
  • The first session is to complete a diagnostic assessment to determine service recommendations and assess symptoms.
  • For children under the age of 11 years old, a parent must be available via phone or in person for the first session in order to obtain necessary information for the assessment.
