If your child is referred to special education for an assessment, the district will enter your child’s name and date of birth into the Minnesota Medicaid System to find out if your child receiving Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare. If you do not want the district to enter your child’s name and date of birth into the Minnesota Medicaid System, please inform your child’s principal that you do not want the district to check the Medicaid System. “
